The start of a New Year is a great time for reflection and looking forward. At The Life Center, we’ll continue to work hard to prepare young women to build productive lives for themselves and their children. With your ongoing help, we believe that 2022 holds great promise for our residents to achieve their goals. We’re happy to fill you in on what’s been going on!
The Holidays Were Wonderful!
Along with enjoying donated feasts and many celebrations, Santa’s bag held many delights for TLC’s kids. Each of them delighted in opening their gifts, and our moms were blessed with gift cards from a generous donor. Our annual toy drive through Amazon Smile was a big success, and we thank all of you who purchased items for our little residents. Did you know that you can designate TLC as your preferred charity throughout the year and from your purchases Amazon will donate to us without it costing you a penny? We would be grateful for you keeping this mind!
TLC’s Program Really Works!
One of our moms is moving forward in her life but took the time to share her feelings about TLC. She said, “TLC gave me the unique opportunity to care for my baby while I worked on the skills I need to be a successful parent in the future. I feel ready for what’s ahead, thanks to TLC’s caring, effective program.”
Another one of our current residents had this to say, “TLC’s program and volunteer staff mean so much to me. It’s like the family I never had, but have come to love so much. Thanks to all of you!”
