In the book of Matthew 28:6, we find the story of Jesus’s miraculous resurrection, signifying everlasting hope for the world. In today’s troubled times, the blessing of hopefulness couldn’t be more valuable. The Life Center is where the seeds of hope are planted for mothers and their children - a place for shelter, support and personal growth. As we celebrate the joyous Easter season, complete with a fun Easter egg hunt, we’re delighted to bring you up to date!
Hope Realized
TLC’s mission is to empower women with the tools and knowledge they need to be effective in many aspects of their lives, from parenting to producing income. One of our most recent success stories shared this with us: “I came to TLC with very little hope for my future. Here, I learned how to manage what’s under my control and make wiser decisions. As a result, I’ve been reunited with my son and feel ready to meet the challenges ahead. I owe my life to TLC and thank you from the bottom of my heart.” That’s what we like to hear!

TLC has helped literally hundreds of women and children transition from abusive relationships or unhealthy lifestyles to productive, independent lives. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and TLC is proud to provide a safe home for moms needing refuge from situations that put their children at risk. This is where the abuse stops and hope replaces fear and anguish.
Hope Renewed
Many of TLC’s residents were facing homelessness when they arrived here, causing them a sense of hopelessness and despair. Our faith-based program is designed to feed the mind, body and soul. With the help of our talented, dedicated volunteers, we create opportunities for learning and growth in a wide range of areas. With no government funding, TLC relies on caring people like you.
