Hearts Full of Love!
Ah, the month of February, sweet treats and love all around! At TLC, our hearts are bursting with joy and gratitude for the blessings bestowed on us. With lots going on, we’re happy to bring you up to date.
Hole in One
Though The Life Center didn’t take to the links, we were definitely the big winner of a golf tournament sponsored by Christ Lutheran Church. We were this year’s recipient of a very generous donation generated from the tournament, which helped us with several maintenance projects around our facilities. We extend our deepest thanks to Christ Lutheran for selecting TLC as their 2022 charity!
With A Lot of Help from Our Friends
TLC is thankful to have strong relationships with other non-profit organizations in our community. One of them, Helping Hands, delivered beautiful bedding sets and infant sweaters that our moms and kids really appreciated. Also, we have new friends at the Hernando County Cattlewomen, which provided TLC with a large variety of cleaning supplies, always needed to keep our facilities sanitized and fresh. Big thanks to Helping Hands and the Cattlewomen - and best wishes to both of them in their important work!
Nothing’s Sweeter Than Success
Shakespeare wrote, “Parting is such sweet sorrow.” But at TLC, when our moms are ready and able to meet life’s challenges on their own, we’re not at all sorrowful. Right now, one of our moms is starting her new life with her two children and said, “TLC’s program made it possible for me to care for my new baby girl in a safe, supportive place and paved the way for me to reunite with my two-year-old daughter. It’s just what I needed to succeed as a parent, and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
