Christmas is a wonderful time of the year and a perfect time to say “Thank you.” Here

at TLC we have a lot of THANK YOU’s to send out – especially to everyone who made the time and effort over this past year to come to TLC and teach a Life Skill class to residents and make donations. Bringing outside resources into our residents’ lives makes an enormous difference in their progress toward becoming productive, responsible, independent adults and parents.
Thank you to…
Gini Crandall & her team at HC Health Department – for teaching Safe Sleeping classes.
Jeanne Whitely from Catholic Charities – for her class on Car Seats and Safety.
Tina Kinney, Sandy & Richard and all the great people at NAMI-National Alliance on Mental Illness – for sharing information about their services and resources.
Jessica Peters and her team from Bene’s Academy in Brooksville – for their generosity in providing residents with beauty treatments.
Molly, Christina & everyone from In Pulse CPR – for offering free CPR classes to residents.
Angela Gababon-Serje from HC Library Services – for the invitation to their fun art event and class on the Importance of Reading to Children and Library Services.
Debbie Mentz & Jackie Campbell from Career Closet – for their generous clothing donations that helped many residents get ready for job interviews and employment.
Caroline Crosby & her team from Mid Florida Community Services – for offering resources and services to residents to help get them started on independent living.
Lisa Colon and everyone from Regions Bank – for the Finance classes and generous donations.
Sophia Watson from HC Adult Education – for information on resources and opening the path to higher education.
Joanne Rodriguez Dina – for teaching a class on Careers and donating beautiful crocheted items to residents and kids. After posting her positive experience at TLC on social media, Joanne received a gift of crocheting supplies for a Crochet class in 2019! Thank you, M Barry from Baird, Texas!!!
Thank you again to Hernando County community members who make a difference every day. TLC runs on volunteer power!!!!!
